Welcome to Oleum Perfumes ("Oleum", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of oleumperfumes.com and any related services, applications, or tools (collectively, the "Site"). By accessing or purchasing from the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Overview

This Site offers luxury and niche fragrances for retail purchase and related content (tips, reviews, blog posts). Throughout these Terms, “you” refers to any visitor, customer, or other end‑user of the Site.

2. Eligibility & Age Restrictions

  1. Order Acceptance — Your order is an offer to purchase; we accept it only when we send an order‑confirmation email.

  2. Payment Methods — We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and Cash on Delivery within Lebanon. All transactions are processed through secure gateways.

  3. Fraud Screening — Orders may be delayed or cancelled if flagged for manual review.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • Shipping options, costs, and estimated transit times are displayed at checkout.

  • Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

  • International shipments may be subject to customs duties and taxes payable by the recipient.

7. Returns & Refunds

  • If you post reviews, photos, or comments ("User Content"), you grant Oleum a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and modify such content for marketing and promotional purposes.

  • You represent that you own or have the right to post the User Content and that it does not infringe any third‑party rights.

  • We reserve the right to remove User Content that is offensive, defamatory, or otherwise violates these Terms.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  1. Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

  2. Violate or infringe the intellectual‑property or privacy rights of others.

  3. Upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its servers.

  4. Engage in scraping, data mining, or automated collection of Site content.

  5. Impersonate any person or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

11. Third‑Party Links & Tools

The Site may contain links to third‑party websites or apps over which we have no control. We provide these links for convenience only and do not endorse or assume responsibility for the content or practices of any third‑party sites.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oleum Perfumes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any products purchased, even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oleum Perfumes and its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third‑party rights.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Lebanese Republic, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law rules. The courts of Beirut shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site.

16. Dispute Resolution (Optional Mediation)

Before resorting to litigation, you and Oleum Perfumes agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good‑faith negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may then pursue a claim in court.

17. Modifications to the Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Site. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a Site banner. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Oleum Perfumes regarding your use of the Site.
